Module 2 · Lecture 2.1
Your Work Areas: Chat, KG View, Studio & Admin
Chat, the Knowledge Graph view, Veezoo Studio, and Veezoo Admin: which area does what, and how they map to the user types.
Where do you actually get work done in Veezoo? There are three areas. Chat, including the Knowledge Graph view, is where Viewers and Creators work with data. Veezoo Studio is where Creators create and maintain the Knowledge Graph. Veezoo Admin is where Admins run the organization.
The areas follow the user types. Viewers work in chat and the Knowledge Graph view, Creators additionally get Veezoo Studio, and Admins additionally get Veezoo Admin. This lecture is a quick tour of all three.
Key points
- Three work areas: Chat with the Knowledge Graph view, Veezoo Studio, and Veezoo Admin.
- Chat is where Viewers and Creators work with data: questions, boards, canvases, agents.
- The Knowledge Graph view shows Viewers which business concepts they can ask about.
- Creators use that same view to check their modelling work and its effect on answers.
- Veezoo Studio is the Creator area where the Knowledge Graph lives as code in a Git repository.
- Because the Knowledge Graph is code, Veezoo can also change it for you from the chat.
- Veezoo Admin covers theming, users, roles, and single sign-on.
Check your understanding
Where do Creators see and edit the Knowledge Graph as code, in files under version control?
Studio holds the Knowledge Graph as code in a Git repository. Changes can be triggered from chat, but the files themselves are shown and edited in Studio.
Which of these tasks is done in Veezoo Admin?
Veezoo Admin holds organization-wide settings such as theming, users, roles, and SSO. The other three tasks belong to Studio or to the chat area.
What is the Knowledge Graph view in the chat area used for?
The view gives Viewers orientation and Creators verification. Creating and maintaining the graph still happens in Studio.
