Veezoo

Atlassian MCP Connector

Connect Veezoo to Atlassian Cloud MCP.

Setup in Atlassian

For Atlassian Cloud, follow the official Atlassian setup guide to create an API token, depending on your preferred credential:

  • Personal account:
    • open API tokens > "Create API token with scopes"
    • Fill a name and expiry date
    • Under "Select the app", select "Atlassian MCP V2" (do not select Jira or Confluence apps here; you can select those in the next step)
    • Select the scopes (e.g., read:jira:agent-interface and write:jira:agent-interface for Jira)
  • Service account:
    • Create a service account as described here.
    • On the service account page, select "Create credentials" > "Create API token with scopes" and follow the same steps as for the personal account above.

For a self-hosted setup, configure an API token using equivalent steps (details may vary depending on setup).

Configure Veezoo

In Veezoo, open Admin > MCP Connectors > Catalog and choose Atlassian.

  • For a service-account API key, select Bearer Token and paste the key into Service account API key.
  • For a personal API token, select Basic Auth, enter your email in Atlassian account email, and paste the token into Personal API token.

For a self-hosted setup, change the Server URL to your MCP server's HTTPS Streamable HTTP endpoint.

After testing the connection, finalize the configuration by:

  • Optionally configuring access restrictions
  • Enabling / disabling individual tools and configuring their confirmation policies
