dbt Cloud MCP Connector

Connect Veezoo to dbt Cloud metadata, lineage and semantic-layer tools.

Setup in dbt Cloud

In dbt's Account settings > API tokens > Service tokens, create a token for the projects Veezoo should access. Grant at least the Semantic Layer Only, Metadata Only, and Developer permissions.
In Account settings > Access URLs, retrieve the MCP Endpoint URL.
Extract the production environment ID. To this end, open the production environment under Orchestration > Environments and check the browser URL, which has this structure:

https://{DBT_HOST}/deploy/{ACCOUNT_ID}/projects/{PROJECT_ID}/environments/{ENVIRONMENT_ID}
```
Extract the {ENVIRONMENT_ID} from the URL. For example, for
```
https://cloud.getdbt.com/deploy/12345/projects/67890/environments/54321
```
extract 54321. See dbt's guide to finding MCP IDs for more details.

In Veezoo, open Admin > MCP Connectors > Catalog and choose dbt Cloud. Set the following values:

Veezoo Field	Value
Server URL	The MCP Endpoint URL retrieved above
Service token	The API token generated above
Production environment ID	The production environment ID extracted above

After testing the connection, finalize the configuration by:

Optionally configuring access restrictions
Enabling / disabling individual tools and configuring their confirmation policies
